MORE VALLEY SCHOOL UPGRADES A STEP CLOSER

Students at both Liddiard Road Primary School, Traralgon and Lowanna College, Newborough are a step closer to the facilities they deserve, with DiMase Architects appointed to design a combined $1,290,000 of upgrades to the schools.

Traralgon (Liddiard Road) Primary School will receive $790,000 in the 2017-18 State Budget as part of the Latrobe Valley Package. This funding will be used for a modernisation and asbestos removal project.

Lowanna College will receive $500,000 in the 2017-18 State Budget as part of the Latrobe Valley Package. This funding will be used for a modernisation project.

Project scope for both of the schools will be developed further now an architect has been appointed.

The Andrews Labor Government will always put people of the Latrobe Valley first by building the Education so that every local student gets the opportunity for a great education and every community has access to a great school.

Students in the Latrobe Valley are a step closer to having the facilities they deserve thanks to the Labor Government’s investment.
