NEW BUILDINGS OPEN AT KORUMBURRA SECONDARY COLLEGE

15th March, 2018

Students at Korumburra Secondary College have access to new facilities following a $5.5 million upgrade.

Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today visited the school to officially open new buildings at the school.

The redevelopment includes the construction of a state-of-the-art Applied Learning Hub with Science, Food Technology, Graphics and Art Learning spaces together with collaboration space where large groups of students can work together on projects.

The project also features construction of a new Technology Hub with mechanical, metal and woodwork area, as well as refurbishment of the school’s classroom wing.

On top of projects such as this one, the Andrews Labor Government’s  school building boom has created more than 1,200 school upgrades and 64 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 6000 construction jobs to ensure all Victorian families have access to a great school no matter where they live.
