LABOR BACKS ST PAUL’S ANGLICAN GRAMMAR SCHOOL COMMUNITY

The Allan Labor Government is ensuring every child can attend a great local school.

That’s why we are investing in new facilities and classroom upgrades for low-fee non-government schools.

Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today announced that the new Junior School building and learning facilities at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School’s Drouin Campus are officially open.

Labor has invested $6 million in the project, with St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School contributing $3.1 million.

Students and staff are now learning and working in flexible, modern spaces designed for collaboration.

The Junior School building features six new learning areas linked to shared indoor and outdoor spaces.

School staff are also benefitting – with new collaborative spaces, amenities and car parking.

Labor has invested nearly $1 billion to build, expand and renovate Victoria’s low-fee non-government schools.

This investment is making sure families can access schools with world-class facilities, close to home.

When the Liberals and Nationals were in government, they slashed $1 billion from education.

Do they back low-fee non-government school communities, or will they cut support for them?
