HONOURING VETERANS IN THE LATROBE VALLEY

The Latrobe Valley has received $9740 for two projects from the Victorian Government and the Victorian Veterans Council.

Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing welcomed the announcement in the lead up to ANZAC Day by Minister for Veterans, the Hon Shaun Leane MP as part of the Victoria Remembers Grant Program and the Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour Program.

Bechaz Art Designs, in partnership with the Yallourn Newborough RSL, has received $4,500 to fund the installation of a mural on the exterior wall of the RSL club.

Latrobe City Council has received $5,241.64 to install underground lighting for the Yinnar War Memorial.
