INVESTMENTS TO REPLACE AND UPGRADE GIPPSLAND POLICE STATIONS

The Andrews Labor Government has delivered on its commitment to ensure safer communities in country Victoria, with a package to upgrade police facilities across Gippsland, including a new police station in Mallacoota. The Government will spend $36.8 million to replace or refurbish regional and rural police stations and residences, so that police officers in country Victoria have safe and modern facilities.

SHING ANNOUNCES $3 MILLION FOR BARINGA SPECIAL SCHOOL

Baringa Special School is one of twenty specialist schools across Victoria that will have their classrooms upgraded and there will be more support for its students, as the Andrews Labor Government continues to make Victoria the Education State. Harriet Shing, Member for Eastern Victoria, today announced $3 million from the 2016/17 Victorian Budget will go to upgrading the school’s ageing buildings, ensuring students have the modern classrooms and spaces they need to learn.
