Students and job seekers from Gippsland can now take up Free TAFE training under the Andrews Labor Government’s $172 million program to make 30 priority TAFE courses and 20 pre-apprenticeship courses tuition fee free from this year.

The Morwell Historical Society building on Hazelwood Road is one of 13 new community projects to benefit from Latrobe Valley Authority’s Community and Facility Fund, with Morwell Historical Society receiving a $12,539 grant for heating and cooling upgrades to ensure year-round comfort.
